Breathing New Life into a Bushrod Beauty
When a 1906 Bushrod home gets a modern refresh, the right staging can make its character shine without overshadowing its updates. For this 4-bedroom, 3½-bath residence, Sayde Mark Designs was brought in to create a layered look that honored the home’s historic charm while highlighting the 2019 renovation.
The heart of the project was the open-concept great room and its connection to a covered veranda. We used a mix of soft textiles, curated accessories, and warm wood tones to create an inviting flow between indoor and outdoor living. The distinguished central staircase received subtle styling to enhance its architectural presence, while each bedroom was staged as a serene retreat—balancing timeless elegance with modern comfort.
