Mission Terrace Home with Indoor-Outdoor Flow
At 887 Cayuga, Sayde Mark Designs staged to respect the home’s Mediterranean bones while keeping the feeling current and comfortable. We leaned into the arched window, ceiling beams, and fireplace by choosing pieces with softer curves and warm wood tones, nothing too modern, nothing too “theme-y.” In the dining room, we kept styling clean so the walnut built-ins stay the focal point. The kitchen and center patio already bring in great light, so we used minimal, practical touches to keep it airy. Downstairs, we staged the primary suite as a true retreat with a simple layout that pulls you toward the garden. Outside, we added a relaxed seating moment to make the yard feel like part of daily life.
